June is special in the Tetons/Yellowstone for the mountains still boast a full winter snow coat set off by cobalt blue skies. Newborn animals abound as the wildlife prepares to return to the high country, and the spring wildflowers begin their colorful reign.

A late afternoon drive on June 19th to the summit of Signal Mountain for a breath-taking vista of the entire Teton Range will be followed by dinner in Jackson Lake Lodge's Mural Room before floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning panoramic view of the Wyoming Rockies.

June 20 – 22 will find us investigating Grand Teton National Park searching out wildlife while visiting all the most scenic locations including Oxbow Bend (above image), Snake River Overlook, Jenny Lake, Cascade Canyon, Mormon Row, and the Old Patriarch . We will travel up Shadow Mountain Road for a wondrous, panoramic view looking west across Jackson Hole.

On the 23rd, we will move northwest to Old Faithful Inn where the wonders of both the Upper and the Lower Geyser Basins will occupy us until the morning of the 24th when we head northeast to Canyon Village and the grandeur of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
