This 2-day event (20+ hours) will combine both in-field shooting and in-class digital editing using Adobe Lightroom 3.

The overall schedule includes capturing the golden hours of light at beautiful locations throughout the Grand Strand both early (6:45 a.m.) and late (6:45 p.m.), with the bulk of the midday spent it the classroom at your laptop editing the recently captured images.

All students will receive a 200+ page step-by-step image editing guidebook while learning a simple Lightroom 3 workflow beginning with digital capture, continuing through image editing, and culminating with image printing and archiving that can be easily adapted to an individual’s needs.

Photo Composition Safari

March 8 – 9, 2012

April 5 – 6, 2012

This two-day sunrise-to-sunset Safari will be focused solely on capturing the best possible image out in the field, or in the house, or at the game, or on vacation, or wherever you find  yourself.

We will cover both what to shoot and how to shoot what to shoot. In addition, we have the opportunity to shoot the full moon rising on both the 8th and the 9th.

Along with composition instruction/feedback/critique, we will also include whatever mechanical camera function training that needs to be addressed. This workshop includes in-class critique and instruction.
